Offering LDSVault as a sharing service does require that everyone using the site be sensitive to the owners of copyrighted material. Copyrighted material includes anything published in most any fashion, whether it be in a book, online, or otherwise. Photos taken by or artwork created by others are also considered copyrighted. Those contributing any content, whether it be thoughts, quotes, photos, clip art, stories, or otherwise, should only submit such works if:

<li>they are the originator and therefore the owner of the copyright for the work, (i.e. wrote the thought, took the photo, etc.)</li>
<li>they have permission from the owner of the work,</li>
<li>the work has been documented as "Author Unknown," or</li>
<li>the work is known to be in the public domain,</li>
</ul>
If you see an entry that you are an owner of and have not consented or suspect to be posted without the owners permission, please report that entry by using the "report this entry as not authorized" link found on the specific page.
